![]() ![]() I'm wanting to swap from PS4 to PC for various reasons, mainly the ease of not having to have two keyboards, one for Discord and the other for in-game chat, but I really enjoy and am used to playing the game on controller and REALLY would rather not relearn everything for M+KB. However, it marks it as an XBOX 360 controller for Windows, and the calibration doesn't work, no inputs I press are registered by the game itself and I can't calibrate the controller, nor can I use it to control when I get in-game, even after swapping from keyboard to controller mode. I load into the game and got the Controller Calibration screen - great, I thought, it recognises the controller. I've setup and chosen a Controller Configuration for FFXIV, no problems. Steam also supports PS4 controller for custom remapping buttons, changing lightbar colors, emulating mouse with the touchpad, etc. So I have my PS4 controller connected to my PC via Bluetooth, Steam recognises it fine and I can use Big Picture mode to navigate around and start the game. A long time ago, FF XIV PC was also patched to support PS4 controller so the buttons are all preconfigured and there's also a UI option to switch between ABXY Xbox button icons and Square, X, Circle, Triangle PS icons. So I've seen a number of older topics about this (I think from the days of pre-native DS4 support with Steam). ![]()
